As businesses seek greater opportunities for putting green initiatives in place, it only seemed appropriate to design an event centered on sustainability. For this corporate mixer, SAVVY ensured that every element – from the food to the tableware and décor – reflected eco-friendly practices.
Sapphire Laguna provided rustic farm-to-table catering with a menu that included Vietnamese beef noodle salad, tuna sashimi tacos with pickled vegetables, and fresh mozzarella made on site served with California olive oil. Attendees also enjoyed California artisanal cheeses with a variety of local brews. The menu was served al fresco using bamboo tableware.
While the food was fantastic, the main attraction was the Tesla Roadster. SAVVY arranged for Tesla — a California-based company — to share the way innovation can lead to environmentally responsible (and fun!) products. Everyone was encouraged to experience this firsthand with test drives of the Roadster. It was a great way to close the evening. And who says corporate events can be staid?
